Palau - Master Carver Francisco Sbal Collection
The late Francisco Sbal was Palau most famous and prolific Master Carver. He started in the 1930s and developed a unique style for creating amazing Palauan legends on wood and then painting them to the colors true to the gables of the Abai, the traditional meeting houses of Palau. He came up with 5 designs for Ocean Dreams to be used specifically for T-shirt art. Here we offer them for men and women in our great, no-fade, no-shrink MaxDri shirts. Mr. Sbal passed away a few years ago but his art lives on with collectors and in this special line.
